what does it mean to be random.

to be random is to have an outcome that is not expected or do something that does not seem like the best option at the moment to do.

The biggest challenges on this project was to get all the sprites to show up when they needed to show up and to get the right things to happen in the right order.

what does it mean to broadcast something?

To broadcast something is to make it public to people by putting it over video or radio and having something to show or say. like the news that you watch in the morning is a news broadcast or that radio show you listen to in the morning is also a broadcast

How do programs know what the user wants to do next

A program knows what the user wants to do next through its recent history. if you go on the same website multiple times then when you type the beginning of the site name the program will try to auto guess to what you want

In scratch you can set up blocks that make commands for the sprites that you want to use and the commands can be repeated, played only if another action block is used or it can only be played once. also some of the other blocks can make sounds for your sprite or make it move up and down or through a series of commands you can make your sprite dance

How is a program made

A program is made when someone finds a new method to finish something on the computer and wants to spend the time to make the program and share it to the world or to select people. I think a computer program is made to make work easier for others

ten fingers

How high can you count with your ten fingers by counting them each once?
i can count as high as i want with my ten fingers because each finger doesnt have to represent 1 single digit of number it could be 10s or 20's or even higher.

i just learned about how binary can count as high as possible with just a series of 01110. and there is a way to count binary with your hands which means you can count as high as you want and as low as you want. Now that i know what binary is i think i understand it better and i would be able ot use it effectively

Problem solving

I feel like the problem I solved in class is not like solving a problem in real life because sometimes problem solving in real life you don't notice that your solving a problem and in class you know that you have to solve a problem because the teacher tells you the problem and asks for a solution. In real life it could just be things like how do i get this couch to the other side and most of us simply just ask someone to come help us and we lift the couch together and move it to the other side of the room. In a classroom the problem could be asked in a way where you have to think about the solution even though the answer could be simple which makes us think we need something that isn't simple because we think the simple solution won't count as the answer

What is intelligence?

What is intelligence? Is a computer intelligent? Why or why not?
I think intelligence is not just being smart but it has something to do with able to teach other people what you know so you can not only spread what you know but learn more yourself as you teach.
I think computers are intelligent because a computer is just as smart as the resources around it and a computer has access to almost every resource that is available on the internet and it is able to help you learn new things that you knew very little before or had no knowledge about it before.
